Jazmine Sullivan: One of R&B's richest voices soars at Fillmore after hiatus

A few songs into her performance at the Fillmore Silver Spring, Jazmine Sullivan asked the audience a pointed rhetorical question: "It's been a while, right?" It certainly has: four years since the 27-year-old made an abrupt exit from the music industry, an eternity in a world where R&B singers are expected to churn out singles, or at least a reality TV show -- a fact alluded to on the title of her latest album, "Reality Show."
